  background.     Alexandria, formerly known as Altansarnai, was born to the Kharlu tribe. Her parents had been high-ranking warriors of the tribe at the time of her birth. By the time her brothers had been born, her parents had ascended to Tribe Leaders. Alex had one older sister and two younger brothers.After her older sister married and left for her new tribe, Alex's marriage had been arranged beyond her will. The night of her wedding she slipped into the night. She reappeared in Kugane where a kind widow took her in and adopted Alex as her own; gifting her the name she uses today.Alex spent four years in Kugane building a life for herself.
